The consultation basket is the place where you store up the items of your interest. Based on your consultation we`ll answer about availability in our stock, prices and freight. Just add the products to your consultation basket and it`s done. We`ll confirm on line the status of your order in up to 2 week days. If the order status at your consultation basket is set to "confirmed" you`ll be abble to purchase the item(s). You just have to click on "buy" toi advance in the purchasing process. IMPORTANT: to use your "consultation basket" you must fill in the customer form to create your "login" and "password". With your login and password you`ll have access to your personal consultation basket as well as the full features and contents of our Website. Note: if you are not a registered customer you`ll have access to the contents of our website, but you won`t be abble to use the "consultation basket".
3- Can i buy not using the Consultation Basket ?
No. We don`t sell items that we don`t have phisically available in our stock. Your Consultation Basket is the search tool you use to verify if we have the items of your interest in our stock. It`s very easy to use your "Consultation Basket": Choose the item of your interest and click on the cover picture. A new page will open with more details related to the chosen item. To add the item to your "Consultation Basket" just click on the link beneath the cover picture. The item will automatically appear on your "Consultation Basket" as "waiting" status. We`ll confirm on line your order status in up to two week days. When an item`s status is set to "confirm" that means that you`re now abble to purchase the product. Just click on "buy", indicate the address for delivery and click on "next" to advance in the purchasing process. Your freight cost will appear automatically and will be added to the final price. (freight cost is calculated depending on the address given for delivery and weight). Our products are sent via Brazilian mail service "SEDEX" worldwide. If you wish to have a quick answer about the availability of an item, please use our phone sales service daily from 9 am to 9 pm, saturdays from 9 am to 8 pm (no collect calls accepted).

If your item status is set to "confirmed", you are now abble to purchase the product. Just click on "buy", and indicate the adress for delivery. You`ll notice that your freight cost will appear automatically, and will be added to the final price. (Freight cost values are calculated depending on the address indicated for delivery and weight of each package). When you`re done, click on "next" to advance in the purchasing process.

7- How to buy ?

If the products you added to your "Consultation Basket" are set to "confirmed" status you can select them and click on "buy". Then, just indicate the address for delivery and choose beetween one of our payment options. In case we have problems to effectuate your purchase, you`ll be contacted via e-mail. If you prefer, contact us by clicking on the "speak to us" link.
8- How can i make sure that the chosen product is really what i am looking for ?
In case you have any doubt related to the chosen item, we can send to your e-mail address picture of the cover of the cd or even a book. You can also receive the track list from the desired cd. Don`t hesittate to clear any doubts, so as we can assist you the best way.
9- How to pay ?
Please login to our website with your login name and password. Check your "Consultation Basket". Mark the items that have order status set to "confirmed" and click on "buy". Indicate the address for delivery, and click on "next". At the moment we accept only Visa Card. Other different payment options will be added to our system as soon as possible.
10- Is it safe to buy at MODERNSOUND.com.br ?

12- Does MODERN SOUND deliver all over Brazil ?
Yes, we deliver. Deliveries will be sent via Brazilian mail service "SEDEX".
13- Does MODERN SOUND delivers outside Brazil ?
We deliver outside Brazil through Brazilian mail service "EXPORTE FÁCIL", operating in partnership with several international transport companies such as: Fedex or UPC for example. It`s good to remind you that in some countries import taxes are charged upon the cd price. Shipping fees and import taxes must be paid by the customer.
14- Which are the periods for delivery ?
"Sedex" will deliver your order Mondays to Fridays, from 09:00 am to 6:00 pm. Unfortunately it`s not possible to set a precise time for delivery, that`s why it`s very important to have someone at home to receive your order and sign up the mail delivery form. Sedex will attempt 3 times to deliver your order. After that, your order will be sent back to it`s original sender, and a new shipping fee will be charged. It`s not possible to change the address after your order is processed.
15- What about packing ?
Your order will be delivered on a sealed package. IMPORTANT: if your package is not sealed we recommend you not to receive it. In this case, please contact us at 55-21-25485005 (no collect calls accepted) from 9 am to 9 pm, mondays to saturdays or through the link "speak to us".
16- How long will it take to receive my purchase ?
The period of delivery of your purchases varies according to the delivery area and the chosen payment form. To know the periods, verify our TABLE OF PERIODS OF DELIVERY.
17- If I want to change the product that I bought at web site ?
In MODERNSOUND.COM.BR, the customer has always his rights respected. Verify our POLICIES OF CHANGE OR REFUND.
18- Does MODERN SOUND accept pre orders ?
Our virtual store doesn't accept pre orders, but it accepts suggestion for constitution of its stock. That is to say, in case the customer doesn't find the product that seeks, he give us his suggestion, that this will be analyzed by our department of purchases and, if the suggestion is accepted, in approximately ten days, the product will already be in the stock and the customer will be informed through email. Even if the wanted product doesn't appear in our catalog, consult us! As our catalog base is made through the catalogs of the music recorders, maybe we can have in stock CDs that have already been discontinued in its origin catalogs.
